Many people ask me, how do you do it? Travel for almost 4 years and still going?

"You must be a trust fund baby," they say.

I wish.

Really, just taking a few things into account, you don“t need that much money, and can live almost ANYWHERE you want.

Your main expense will be housing.

First things first, learn how to cook. Eating street food all day in foreign countries is tasty but costly. And try to do the "domenick Buonamici diet":

I eat a small breakfast (some fruit and a bread or something small), then eat a big lunch (when food is usually cheapest worldwide), and eat a very light dinner (just some more fruit and veggies)...

Eating like this, I look great, feel great and am at a nice, lean weight.

We really eat way more than we need to.

Second, live somewhere where you DONT need a car...i havent had a car for 4 years, and havent once felt like I needed one! In most countries abroad, especially the poor ones, buses pass every two seconds and taxis are cheap...so by not having a car you pay nothing for fuel, insurance, car repairs or parking!

And remember to learn how to use the public transport systems...not just to rely on taxis...

Third, find a cheap place to sleep. Dont look in places where only foreigners look for housing (and people know it, raising the prices) like Craigslist, instead, have a local look in the classifieds of the local papers and help you find a place.

For the second part of this article...check back here later this week...saludos, domenick...
